# Welcome to DX2

DX2 is an online platform for bringing your business into the digital era. DX2 makes paper-to-ERP, data entry, and integration into existing platforms easy.

DX2 is designed using the "hub and spoke" model, where DX2 is the hub that connects Trading Partners, the spokes, at a central point. Using this model, the Trading Partner needs to connect only to a web browser to exchange documents, which are converted to EDI documents behind the scenes.

An analogy is that of a train network: the hub (DX2) acts as the train station, and the spokes act as the passengers. This way, Trading Partners need only board one train (the DX2 network) to have access to all other stations.

A Trading Partner in DX2 is often an organisation in the real world, though this is not a hard-and-fast rule.

• Allows Users to send documents to, and receive documents from other Trading Partners.
• Provides visibility of the status of document exchanges, and allows Users to track their sent & received documents.
• Track invites to the DX2 platform (whether an invite to trade has been accepted by a prospective Trading Partner).
• Provides status updates throughout the exchange process from start to finish, and notifies Users if anything went wrong.
• Allows for seamless collaboration with Trading Partners, making day-to-day communication easy.
